Living History
The Victorian Society at Falls Church has participated in a variety of living history events since our founding in 1995. Our members have participated in events set in the 1860's through the Titanic era. Each year we participate in several living history events at Cherry Hill Farmhouse,. In the past, we also portrayed U.S. Presidents and their families at the White House Egg Roll; and dressed in 1908 attire for the commemoration of the Wright Brothers flight at Fort Myer; and turned out in Titanic attire for a special exhibit "Fire and Ice" at the Postal Museum in Washington, DC.
Is your organization looking for costumed living history interpreters to add a special touch to your event? Please contact Terry at terryhooperknapp@aol.com to see if we have suitable volunteers available.
